We-ID is the eHerkenning specialist. Until 2019, we provided eHerkenning under the name Connectis, which was founded in 2008. Together with several other market parties and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (EZ), we stood at the foundation of eHerkenning. We were among the first authorised providers in 2010!
Since March 2020, we have been part of Signicat, the Norwegian Identity Specialist.
More than 350 organisations use our certified broker to identify more than 14 million users online.
More than 70,000 organisations use our software and eHerkenning tools to securely log in to public and private services. 70 per cent of all transactions within eHerkenning run through Signicat and We-ID’s software and infrastructure.
