We-ID is the eHerkenning specialist. Until 2019, we supplied eHerkenning under the name Connectis, which was founded in 2008. Together with several other market parties and the Ministry of Economic Affairs (EZ), we were at the foundation of eHerkenning. We were among the first recognized suppliers in 2010!
We-ID part of Signicat
Since March 2020, we have been part of Signicat, the Norwegian Identity Specialist.
More than 350 organizations use our certified broker to identify more than 14 million users online.
Over 70,000 organizations use our software and eHerkenning resources to securely log in to public and private services. 70 percent of all transactions within eHerkenning run through the software and infrastructure of Signicat and We-ID.

We-IDentify
The name We-ID consists of ‘We’, which stands for together, and ‘ID’, which stands for identification. With an eHerkenning tool from We-ID, employees of organizations can identify themselves online. An eHerkenning tool gives the service providers where you log in more certainty that the user logging in is who they say they are.
